Abstract:
To reduce direct natural gas emissions and address global climate change, this study explores the innovative application of mobile compressor units in the blowdown recovery process of long-distance natural gas pipelines. The integration of each unit component is optimized using a modular design approach, while advanced automatic control systems enable fully automated monitoring. Leveraging a "building block" concept with prefabricated, multi-specification pipeline segment flanges and on-site assembly, the study details the practical application of mobile compressor units in the blowdown recovery process of long-distance natural gas pipelines, including site layout, pipeline connections, unit configuration, and system design. Field maintenance and repair operations confirm that the developed mobile compressor unit achieves a recovery rate exceeding 75% during blowdown recovery at 3
# Valve Chamber of the Changqing-Yinchuan Pipeline, effectively conserving natural gas, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting green, low-carbon development.
