Optimization of communication networks for long-distance oil and gas pipelines based on Time-Sensitive Networking

  • 摘要: 油气长输管道作为能源输送的关键基础设施,其通信网络的优化对于提升管道运行的安全性与效率至关重要。本研究旨在通过引入时间敏感网络(Time-Sensitive Networking,TSN)技术,解决传统通信网络在应对复杂业务需求时存在的传输时延大、可靠性不足等问题。通过对TSN技术的精准时钟同步、时间感知调度模型、冗余传输与可靠性机制等核心技术原理的分析,发现该技术能够显著提升油气长输管道通信网络的实时性、可靠性和资源利用率。同时,研究指出了TSN技术在兼容性、部署成本、网络安全方面面临的挑战,并提出相应的优化策略,包括实现与现有系统的平滑过渡、通过技术创新降低部署成本、构建完善的网络安全防护体系。研究成果为油气长输管道通信网络的优化提供了新的技术路径与实践指导。

     

    Abstract: As critical infrastructure for energy transport, long-distance oil and gas pipelines rely heavily on optimized communication networks to improve operational safety and efficiency. This study aims to address issues such as high transmission latency and insufficient reliability of traditional communication networks in meeting complex service requirements by introducing Time-Sensitive Networking(TSN)technology. Through an analysis of core TSN principles-precise clock synchronization, time-aware scheduling, redundant transmission, and reliability mechanism-this study demonstrates that TSN significantly enhances the real-time performance, reliability, and resource utilization of communication networks for long-distance oil and gas pipelines. It also identifies challenges such as compatibility issues, high deployment costs, and network security risks, proposing solutions like seamless integration with existing systems, cost reduction through innovation, and the establishment of robust security frameworks. These findings offer a new technical approach and practical guidance for optimizing communication networks in long-distance oil and gas pipelines.
